The Nullsoft Scriptable Install System is an installer tool. I used it for my Perils of Branwen mod
These notes were written at the time I published my Perils of Branwen mod. It’s been lying around my home network systems for a while and I want to publish it so that others can use it, it is no longer held only on my disk systems, and to say thank you to those who helped me. It was written as a blog, and so the tense construction and chattiness reads oddly four years later. Hope its useful. This was copied accross to this wiki in JUne 2013. Read More
This is the downloads page. This page was last updated, prior to being copied over to wiki.daveley.info on 11 Nov 2009, I was sent the Russian Translation late in 2010, and posted it to davelevy.info in June 2012. I placed the Russian Translation on this page in June 2013, when I copied the page to this site. This version 3 i.e. snipsnap page was created on 30th December 2007 when I retired content relating to previous versions and also to any development plans. Read More
This is the author’s home page for the BG2 mod, “The Perils of Branwen”. I think I started it in 2003. Two people have made translations for which I am grateful. I have no plans to enhance or finish the mod. If anyone else wants to develop using it, then fine. (It might even be useful as a template.) This page documents the context, gives you a hint as to where you’ll find her and talks about the playability and characterisation. See the Download Page for the mod files and downloads. Read More

I have amended this snip as it came across. The ‘related posts’ plugin picks up cross references and so I have deleted references to articles on this wiki.
I copied a post from forgotten wars forums about managing the software build. I posted this on http://davelevy.info, but while tidying it up in April 2009, I uploaded it here BG2 Filesystems. I originally said “Snapshot & Fast Restores! – An article taken from the now defunct forgotton wars site. It’s about how once one has created a “vanilla” build, a safe snapshot copy can be taken quite economically in terms of time & space.” It was written by someone who called themselves Michel.

These notes were originally created in 2008/2009. I copied them across to this wiki in 2013. Many of the links referred to are no longer available.
This article is about how to run BG2 on an early windows build in multiplayer mode, it is quite long. I marked this article as
I want to run BG2 multiplayer across my network hub. There seems to be a problem with local i.e. 192.168.0.0 addresses. This may be by design, although I can’t for the life of me think why. This research will involve understanding the game software and the hub, not to mention the various firewalls involved. Read More
I made the HTML version for Domi and posted it on the snipsnap bliki, as Version 1 while it was being reviewed. It seems it’s still here. Jan 2018.
It can be viewed using a browser at “BG1 NPC Project” Romance Guide [html], and is also available for download, see below.

In Baldur’s Gate 2, there are specific quests related to the interaction between you (the protagonist) and certain individual party members. One of the candidates as an object of your affection is Jaheira, who you first met in part one, Baldur’s Gate. This part of the game is very buggy and I collected the advice on how to fix the game in this FAQ. It was originally written in April 2002. It’s mainly about fixing, patching and poking the game, although it contains a couple of hints. The links section is going to be pretty broken by now. DFL 2014
